TWS—Kaloi

Welcome to TWS—Kaloi!

In the village of Ismail Sangrasi, children faced a daunting challenge: the absence of a proper school building since 1985 left them without access to formal education. This lack of infrastructure inspired local activists to seek help, ultimately partnering with The Walkway School (TWS) to bring their vision to life. After identifying a suitable location, TWS swiftly took action, and within just one month, a single classroom, washroom, and boundary wall were constructed—marking a new chapter of hope and opportunity for the community.

However, education was only one of the village’s challenges. Limited access to clean water had long hindered daily life. Recognizing this need, TWS installed a solar-powered water pump, providing a sustainable and reliable water source for both the school and the broader community. This intervention not only addressed a basic necessity but also symbolized a commitment to holistic development.

Today, the school stands as more than an educational institution; it is a vibrant hub for community growth. With events and workshops on health, hygiene, and community development, the school has become a cornerstone of progress, fostering engagement and self-reliance among residents.

Through its work in Ismail Sangrasi, TWS has transformed education from a distant dream into a tangible reality while strengthening the community’s foundations for a brighter, more sustainable future.
